Ningdong - Shandong ± 660kV DC transmission demonstration project started construction in 2010, this is first ± 660 kV voltage level of the DC transmission project of the world, total length 1333 km, via Ningxia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong 5 provinces (Area). TG Group supplied ACSR of 1889.61 tons for the project. This is another important cross-regional power grid DC transmission project of State Grid, opened up the North channel from West China to East China.
